As last night was my first night playing.. all i could rely on was 1 day of forum reading to figure things out.
I was wondering, when you die.. i read you rez at a hospital. I notivced alot of hospitals last night.. but when i entered them.. there was nobody to talk to that says anything along the lines of... "youll res here next time you die". I wanted to understand.. how does the game decide WHERE you res?
Last night i also logged out when i hit level 5 to show my buddy the intro. I logged out in the forest but when i logged back in.. i was back at the start area. ( no biggie.. i enjoy the game so i killed my way back to town. )... but again.. it comes down to not having a specific location to call "home" or "save".
I asked in general chat and was installed whispered about 10 times saying .. " this is an MMO.. you dont "save" anywhere". So.. any clues / opinions / comments would be great.
Lastly... this is more aimed at higher level players. I got my guy to level 7... and was very picky on what talents i used up. I picked running rank 3 to see just how fast it was.. but realized pretty quickly that it burnt my adrenaline bar within 5 seconds. I figure at rank 5.. burst running will only last like what? 3-5 seconds with a full bar? I thought it was more for running around the map? ( ie a movement choice ). Was it just that i was low level? Does it get better at higher levels due to armor / upgrades / rank 5? Is there other movement aids in game other then transporters etc?
Thanks again for any info you can provide to this recruit !!

Hey Kral! Once you have visited multiple outposts you will get a chance to choose your ressurection point: any outpost on the map which you have formerly visited and waypointed.
As for the logging out thing - you SHOULD reappear at the same spot you logged. I'm not sure why you were returned to town; perhaps an error, perhaps you died while logging.
For movement assistance- you can always train up/wear your motor assist armor, BUT this will mean less body armor for battle. The transport sysem is pretty complete and ensures that you never have to run over ~2 minutes more than once; when you reach your second class transfer at 15, I recommend you clone yourself and skip Sprint on the clone. Skill points are precious and that's not the best skill to have them tied up in, in my experience Check out this page for a very helpful character builder.
