Have not seen anything exactly like World of Pirates, but there are a few Pirate MMOs floating about currently, Pirates of the Burning Sea, Pirates of the Caribbean Online, Bounty Bay Online, Voyage Century Online (BBO/VCO are the same game with different publishers/markets)
i would say that pirates of the burning sea woudl be your best bet, only prob is that it doesnt come out till jan of 2008
