Does the damage bonus for hand to hand combat help you if you have a weapon in your hand? What about spy's with knives...does it add on to that damage too?

Blades have their own skill And no, I think the damage bonus only applies to empty hands. I could be wrong, though!

Currently, the damage/75% knockback modfier does nothing for "Blades" but will currently be fixed. I think they should leave it as is due to how much damage Blades can do on a single target (waaay more than staffs) would be a lil over powering in PvP (already have a high population of Ranger to Spy wannabes ingame).
IIRC the Hand 2 Hand skill also reduces the durability loss that a weapon will recieve if used in melee (note that Staff's and Swords should be exempt from this as they are melee weapons).
Hand to hand stacks with Guardian Staff Weapons but not with Spy's Swords.
I'm not sure if this is "working as intended" or if one or the other is a bug. From what I have read, the sword is actually a melee-range front-arc AoE, while the staff is for single targets just like a normal weapon. This may be where the discrepancy orginally arose.
