1>Different quests based on story plot of warcraft:fronzen frone. The game play is based on the story line quiet deeply and all quests are somehow linked to the main story line. Also there are some quests liek deadmines or terisils forrest that are simply mini stories that you play out. Very cool thow, like stealing from theaves for saaveing the princess from the frogbogs I think.
2>Mounts, transport and traveling, well lets put it this way, there are mnore mounts and metods of transpot with eq and eq2 put togeather and I insist you count, there are all methodes of transport and types of transports. You wana go by air, they have zeplines(blipms, aircrafts) and hypogrifins and wingbats(not therew actaul name, can't remember how to spell it) and a few night elf things. Ya wana go by boat feel free, ya wana swim go, you wana portal just get a few friends togeather and cast it. There are so many ways to get around I don't know where to start.
3>Hero system, reputation and threat. You actaully can become a hero in this game, a certified recognised champiuon of the people, you get a reputaion for you deads throught quests and if you done them in specific good ways your reputation will go up an the quest npc's will treat you differently. Threat, certian spells and attacks cause threat which means that the paladin will not simply get attacked because he is attacking but the suppour priests will be heavily hattacked because he generates more threat throught healing. The AI ststem for mobs is a few hundred times better.
4>do you really want me to continue because I am more than willing on telling you how many game differences there are and how wow of warcraft is better than eq.

I don't belive spell telleportation will exsist in Eq2. According to what i read the only info i got from it was, "About that time the gods left the druid circles and spires stoped working." (those were the things you mostly telleported to) In Eq2 you may not beable to own boats at release, but you will still be able to navigate them, as in pilot them. You can control the boat, but you don't own it. Mounts will be released in Eq2, just not at release. And i have to say the WoW beats Eq2 in ground mounts. I like the idea of having all the different mounts. (not the flying bat things)
3> I can sum up most of what you said in just one word for your 3rd set of info.....that word is....faction. And the other thing you were talking about already exsists in Eq1. Mobs (monsters) go after the person who is the most threating to them. If there are 2 monsters you are fighting one of them will probly go after either the healer or the nuker. What you said for the 3rd one isn't impressive, you just managed to make it seem impressive, as soon as you relize it, it is nothing new, and no, its not a 100 times better.

I think the movie looks great, couldn't care less if EQ2 will be better or worse but reading the posts from both WoW fan bois and EQ fan bois starting to get abit boring, so I just scan through the treads.
If you like WoW and the cartoonish graphic (like I do) and gameplay, play WoW
If you like Eq2 with their graphic/gameplay, play EQ2
Both games are still in beta noone knows what game will be the best selling, but I think everyone understand that both games will sell alot of copies and both games will be good depending on what you like.

Your logic seems circler and lame, I have given quiet good technical specifications of computer funtions and an analisis of grafic crad requirments and here you telling me about how I am a kid and I am just crying about what. I heard that EQ2 isnt gonna have PvP? Is this true cause if it is then WoW has already won a tonne of people over with its gameplay. Also in EQ2 there are only two real main cities (good and evil) making it a lot more linear as WoW has a huge exploration and city number which will probably be used in faction vs faction combat
I personally just dont care about EQ2. There is nothing good or bad about that game that convinces me either way. I have never trolled on their forums, ive actually made a post praising their new movie as it looks good.
However here on the WoW forums I see EQ fanbois saying how illogical it is to have air transport. Like WTF. Is that supposed to convince me that WoW sucks and EQ2 is a better game? I think GuardianKing is right, by the time they grew up they would die of old age. If you want to convince anyone that EQ2 is a better game, youll never do it based on graphics. Use some facts to back up your opinions about the gameplay/sound/combat etc. However since many of us have played WoW and you havent played EQ2, your opinions are just guesses whereas our opinions have the support of fact.

EQ2 will probably have PvP and non-PvP servers, and the number of each type will most likely be driven by the population on those servers.
As for cities, go check out EQ. There are lots and lots of empty cities. Check out SWG and you will find a similar result. Having lots of starting cities means having lots of newbie lands spread over the world, and in the end people will eventually come together in one or two main meeting places to meet people, work on trade skills, and sell their goods and loot. EQ is starting off with this in mind by making two very large main cities instead of numerous smaller cities, most of which just end up abandoned anyway. That is the logic behind it, we will just have to wait and see how it works out.
