I'm simply looking for the best F2P MMO (No, not GuildWars). Grind doesn't matter to me, as long as it has lots of content/features. I liked 2Moons, but am wondering if theres anything better. Any recommendations?
Soul of the Ultimate Nation is quite good, but unfortunately there is no NA version available (and no plans to localize the game either) or English translation patch for the SUN clients without an IP block on them. The game is a godsend compared to other F2P Asian games, it has both point/click movement and responsive WASD controls (unlike RF Online or Archlord where it does have WASD but is very uncomfortable) along with ability to jump (not really that big of a feature but still something the majority of the F2P Asian MMOs don't have), pretty good graphics (about on par or a little bit above Sword of the New World), a fairly smooth battle system and an enormous world map.
That being said, the game is still held back by some of the common F2P Asian MMO features such as gender based classes (Males are melee while Females are mages (although there are gender based classes, you can still customize your characters look to some degree (five different facial features, five different hair features and five different height sizes))), XYZ quests and grinding, no auction house and poor community towards NA players. Also the most obvious let down (as I mentioned earlier), is how there is no NA translations available. If you can't read Japanese, Chinese or Korean characters then all you will be doing is grinding, which apparently you don't mind, although I do and got sick of the grinding after level fifteen and quit.
Perfect World is also another exceptional F2P Asian MMORPG. Very detailed character customization, point/click and responsive WASD control movement and the ability to jump, has an auction house, has crafting and decent graphics. The game has quite a few down sides though such as FFA PVP after level 35 (or 33 I can't remember), the delay it takes to target things in the game (there is some sort of 1 second delay when targeting anything that got extremely annoying during combat), XYZ quests, grinding and the poor development team.
i would suggest L2J, (lineage 2 java)... its also what some ppl call private servers... it is tho, but its liigle if its L2J, and not a leaked Retail client, most servers uses L2J tho.. go write like top10 lineage 2 on google, and u will find the first 100 L2J servers enjoy.

I've heard good things about Archlord and Perfect World, but I wouldn't recommend 12 sky to anyone.
