[Same spells? You just have to compare the spell lists from the two guides and you will see the significant differences at all levels, not just high levels. Yes there are some spells that are the same, but that is to be expected in a sequel.
quick look at warrior magic, this is all of them (according to both official websites) before lvl 40
Mir3 1. swordmanship(same thing as fencing swordmanship) 2. slaying 3. advanced slaying(same thing as thrusting 4. halfmoon 5. shoulderdash 6. flaming sword 7. dragon rise(same thing) 8. bladestorm(lvl 38, the first thing resembling a new skill) 9. full moon
guess its just a small patch for warriors, whole new game for everyone else. hopefully exp rate will be 10x what it is in mir2(which it is not, atm anyway) or you play for a year before you get one of these great skill from this whole brand spankin new game!!
and yes im sure hes a beagle, but i just bought him a new collar, so..according to logic of you guys on this thread, heas a whole different beagle now!!
I note you pick the non-spell casting class to demonstrate the similarity of spells between the two games. I'm sure everyone can work out the flaw in that.
And yes, the warrior class is the most similar between these two games (and any other game that has ever existed in this genre), big surprise!
As for leveling speed, if it takes you a year to get to high level in either Mir, you are doing something seriously wrong these days. 2-3 months depending on how much time you spend investigating other aspects of the game (1 month if you just level).
And I'm afraid you've had the wool pulled over your eyes about your beagle, its built with the same engine as a wolf, comes with all the same components (nothing new added), same skills - just more compact bundle and updated graphics
Even at lvl 0 a BES is pretty good, but when it is hurt rest the pet and carry on fighting...when pet regens then use it again...simple, wiz's do it all the time.
You could always fight with a tao...grouping with a Tao and a Sorcerer gives you a 10% xp bonus.
You can get a "tao" pet to heal you, (not sure how many pots that will save you in two hours though, try it out when you can afford it ) just make sure you keep it alive

I hyped this game with a 10. No other game has come close to the great gameplay and player interaction/community of Mir2, for me at least. Some advice for anyone trying out new games that not everyone seems to follow, do not base your choice on graphics or you will miss out on some of the best games there are.
As for whether Mir 3 is a whole new game; when I'm at the levels where I'll be hunting the same mobs in the same maps using mostly the same skills and the same controls I know what I'll be thinking to myself. imo Mir 3 is an update to Mir 2, but a big one and one that is definitely worth checking out, partly because Mir 2 was/is such a great game and Mir 3 takes so much from it.
You all have to admit that a game that is not even in to beta (closed/open) has created a big noise...
So on this fact alone i considder the hype is justified, as this thread has shown.
Last note to all the peaple who flame, when open beta comes areound try it not just for 30 secons, then u can have a informed opinion on it, Korean beta i think does not cut it because a lot of water has passed under its beta bridge ......
Hi ash welcome to this board, the flames stopped as soon as LoM3 dropped out of the top five most wanted once we reach ~7.4, I assume it will start again .
LoM3 Euro beta, will not be the same build as the LoM3 korean beta, it will have the lastest UI etc...
Still Hyped
