International version, who is going to play it?

JimLadJimLad Member CommonPosts: 187

According to Wikipedia: "The International Version will be built to specifically accommodate North America and Europe more locally then any previous versions."

I was wondering who's planning to play this.

It's probabaly going to be more accessible to western players and have a generally larger English speaking population.

However if they try to make it subcription based, then I'll definately stick with the MY version.

You know, I'm not quite sure. I expected someone to fill in the gap for me by now so I wouldn't have to do anything.

To be honest, most everyone will stick with this version. Theres no actual point, this is virtually the international version. Everyone is already playing it (US, Germany, France, Britain, etc etc. ), Heck, our guild is so mixed up of different living areas it's madness. This version, is basically the international version from my point of view.

Probably. I had to start over after the CB wipe, I'm not starting over again for a new server. My time has it's limits.

That's what I thought, but I don't think as many people are playing it as they will be when the official international version comes out. It will probably be advertised a lot more and be less of a pain in the ass to get started. (At least mine was a pain without hotmail alowed)

Most of the western players now are probably those who have been following it. Everyone else won't know about this game until that next version arrives, when they all start playing it.

but yeah I'll probabaly end up staying too, I was just thinking in terms of friends who might start playing on another server.

The quoted wiki statement already is pretty old.

Officially, there is not NA/international version planned (anymore).
It hasn't be ruled out per se, but actually there is not even a distributor/publisher yet who wants to try PW in the western market.
And cubit has no plans of doing so.
