Every time I come on here to MMORPG I see the same posts over and over about the same things. Do people just cut/copy their posts from the day before and continue on the same discussions over and over and over? Curious. That's all. Guess i'll log in tommorow and post this same message....again to join the club.

The topics are all opinionated, so they never get anywhere. It's pretty much an exercise in futility to take part in most of the discussions. People do tend to start repeating themselves after a while. People do tend to start repeating..
Kind of like an MMO except we dont get experiance or shiney new weapons for the time we spend here.
Sent me an email if you want me to mail you some pizza rolls.
No, but a shiny post count which you show to all your friends.
As I do agree there are plenty of repeat posts here on the boards, some I do find quite useful.
Any random day I see a post regarding the state of VG, WoW, lotro, FFXI, EQ1/2 and so on and so forth.
Each post has at least 1 useful piece of information for me to read about, and because its a re-made topic it lands right on the front page, for all to read. Call me lazy but I much rather prefer seeing topics like that on the front page rather then having to sift through countless threads hoping to find what I am looking for.
From time to time there is something worth while.

An opinion should be the result of thought, not a substitute for it. - Jef Mallett
The LFG forum is probably the worst one for it, the entire page is just one big variation of 'I'm too damned stupid to read the 57 other posts asking the same question'
This is exactly why I only post in very short bursts on these forums--posting for a couple weeks to a month, and then disappearing again for months at a time.
It just gets so banal and monotonous here so very quickly to stick around for any length of time.
At any given time you'll find a thread that:
- Admonishes the current WoWification of MMORPGs
- Asks everyone if they prefer skill-based or class-based
- Proclaims <game x> to be the next WoW killer
- etc. etc....
This site would actually be better served being called www.groundhogday.com
Same fucking shit over and over.
I do admit, there is a lack of constructive insight. However, not all the blame goes to MMORPG.com ...If we want to change the forums, we have to change our postings.

You get use to it and tbh Ive warmed to it a bit. As people slowly leave WoW and come to terms with their own unreasonable expectations of gaming they make endless posts trying to help them form opinions. A lot of the people posting are younger members too that use posting to help them learn about the world through games.
Im guilty of a few 'Help! What should I play?' posts, from what Ive seen people just dont stick with one game and they came here during every transition.

Some times I do get pissed when just looking at thread names ... Just how many more "WoW killer" threads can you start? I don't give a shit about WoW or any "WoW killers", stfu with it already for god's sake!
It's just same ol' all the time... and level of "discussion" is uber low... Onces "haters" and "fanboys" board the ship, it's gone!
God... if I was mod I would ban any idiot that would make yet another "WoW killer" thread! Argh...
Feel bit better now that I said it. Thank you.
Its just kids chatting crap - they could make the web site 18+ and filter out 100% of those posts but those kids are the people clicking the banner ads and asking daddy where his wallet is.
