MMOFPS section on site and in forums

in Site Suggestions

I would like to see a section just for MMOFPS's on the site and in the forums,  I think this would be great for players like me that are only interested in fps mmo's.  I know theres not near as much news and stuff for fps mmo's but it would be nice to be able to talk to others and have a dedicated section for them.

    MMOFPS is a subgenre of MMORPG... So why not embrace it?

    No, it is a different section of the mmo genre, not a "subgenre of MMORPG".

     

     

    Feel free to start MMOFPS.COM.

    Or MMOactionrpg.COM ( for games like Failgate).

    Or MMOdon'tknowwhatIam.COM ( for games like Tabula Rasa ).

    Or MMOepeenstrokers.COM ( for games like Fury ).

    There's only 2 mmofps's that I can think of . They are both listed here, given its mmoRPG (as was 'hinted') why are they on here? And how many of the other games listed here are really RPG, not a lot of those listed here.

    A game can, I suppose, belong to multiple genres; what defines an RPG for US is found here.

    Well I only post this suggestion because when articles are posted on the front page about upcoming games like Huxley  and in the past Neocron 2 update and such it gives the impression that it is more than a mmoRPG only site. 

    But point taken this is MMORPG.com so I cant expect it but I still suggest at least having a mmofps forum.  A mmofps is still an RPG you role play your character/faction just as any other mmo but alot of people dont think of it that way so if I was to post about a mmofps in The Pub MMORPG forum people would proble say its not posted in the right place or just spam saying how it sucks cause they hate fps combat.  So I think it would be best if there was a mmofps forum for people who like mmorpgs with fps combat could talk to others that do.
