help finding a game

Hello, Iam looking for a game that is very similar to diablo 2 or Mu online. i would perfer a game with the items/upgrading similar to either of these. 2d or 3d doesnt really matter to me. i do like just grinding and have some quests, i dislike games where iam forced to only quest to level/advance to new areas, i dont mind grouping with others to gain experience but i would perfer a game where iam not forced to find groups for half the night just to get anything done, especially at higher levels

also, i would perfer one that doesnt have monthly fees, i dont mind the item shops, but i dont want another game taking more money off my credit card :p

games i have tried but didnt really care for that was this type of game was. Guild Wars, Kal online? i believe it was called.  silkroad online ( to much competition for spawns to me) Archlord, i played it 2 months ago and the game was really buggy for me + i didnt like the movement in the game

Games that i did like but lost interest in/died/ wasnt much left for me to do in.   Knight Online, Mu online ( of course). Conquer Online, Lineage II ( would keep playing if it wasnt P2P)..  Runescape ( i enjoyed the tradeskilling side of the game not the fighting),   Asherons Call... and 4+ years ago there was a game called thesa online it was a beta game that got cancelled by the company hosting it. i never see anyone revive the game, but that game was exactally what iam looking for,

i know my list might sound like iam very picky. and im sorry it is, but iam getting tiredsome of trying all kinds of new games and not caring much for any of them,

also thank you for taking the time to read all of this. and replying if you do so :)

You ever looked into Helgate: London ?? I think it might contain some of the qualities you want..

Other than that I could perhaps suggest the old Baldur's Gate series... Ever tried those? You dont play online, but they were pretty good back in the day.. Lots of items, loads of storytelling, etc..
