I don't remember hearing anything about flying mounts, from what I remember they were fairly unique and only used by specially trained troops so it doesn't really fit the lore. Of course it's entirely possible they'll put them in anyway even if they don't fit, but they seem to be staying pretty true to the source material so maybe not.
