I'm not sure if anyone else agrees but I find the one click enter system on these forums really annoying. No matter where I click on a page it takes me somewhere. This becomes really annoying if you accidently click or click in the wrong place, its also annoying while trying to bring this page back to the front as it sometimes makes you go to places you didnt want to.

 

www.totalformat.com <<--- They dont use the one click enter system they have here, insted you must click the threads title to enter. I personally find this a much better system. Not sure what others here think, maybe i'm a stand alone Brit on this one?image

    Noted...I know many people do like it.  But I like giving people options...so perhaps I will add an option that allows people to specify this image

    I have to agree I can just about use it with concentration, but I have a mouse wheel and often after tabbing or moving the mouse need to (or subconsciously) click on the page so I can scroll and before I know it im in a thread and I'm like narghhhh.

    I have hated that since I started visiting here. But I got use to not having stray clicks... Took awhile!

    One of the changes that will be made here is that your cursor will change to a hand when over a clickable row and the row will highlight to show what forum/topic you are over....would that help?

    It's a star tbut I'd have to say no, I have to say I don't really look at my pointer or really like it's shape to change its in the bakgorund of my mind as a long term computer use and its something I dont notice but can use. Plus clicking is just something you can't cnotrol it gives almost a tactile feeling of being there for me but I'm just a compulsive clicker.

    Still however you prefer it but for intuitivness I feel it falls short and always puts me off using a forum, but hey thats just me.
