Nintendo Wii: One Year Later

im trying to convince my friend to sell his. The next 6 months there is onyl 1 game that is good coming out for the Wii.

Sure. In fact, it's so crap that you can't find one in a store. It must be because they stopped making them when they realized how bad they were.

I didnt make a judgement on quality. I made a judgement on quantities. No major third party games, like for the N64 and Gamecube before it.

 

As for the availability of the Wii, in france we never had any shortage; must be an american problem.

I suppose in France they don't have Guitar Hero 3 or Resident Evil 4, among others?

 In france, everyone knows Guitar Hero is a multi-console game which wasnt even tested well enough for the wii and will need to be exchanged by the publisher due to technical problems; this game doesn't show any kind of specific third party support for the Wii.

Resident Evil 4 came out on the gamecube and the PS2 some time ago, therefore isn't a new game, and doesnt show any specific third party support either. It's an old game you can find on last generation consoles.

I know it's hard to admit, but the Wii is still the same old Nintendo console with only major Nintendo franchises to support it and nothing else special. Problem is, the Nintendo franchises are getting old: it's Metroid 6, Mario 7, Zelda 6 we are talking about here...
