Looking for a good MMORPG

Hey guys, Im currently looking for a MMORPG. I just bought FFXI, and it sucks so Im looking for a new one. Ive play DAoC (Loved it, but I "finished" it) SWG (not -that- bad) and I played UO for many years. I dont really care about PVP although its nice. Any suggestions?

Have you played Ragnarok online?  It's a really good game.  There is a free trial and you don't have to buy any software to play, so you really don't lose anything.

You could check out AO its a pretty good game. Graphics arent amazing but its fun.

I'm also looking for a mmorpg.
I was looking forward to playing Warhammer online, bur it got canceled.
What I'm looking for is something "dark" or "evil" no anime style stuff.
I dont really care if its a scifi or fantasy game but I'd be glad if it has at least some PvP.
I know DaoC from a friend, but its not quit what I'm looking for, thiers too little background and RPG in it if you ask me.
EQ2.... looks like a lvl hunt game to me.
WoW is just too Blizzard for me.
So if anybody has any alternatives please give me a hint.

HostileSpace is an awesome game and it is free as of this writing.

It does not look good at start, but when I started playing it, it is awesome.

I loved DAoC and EQ, and I have played all the major mmorpg like Lineage2, SWG, ShadowBane, and so on.

I am not the kind of person who likes free games like runescape, as they were full of scamming kid when I played runescape.

But I was amazed of how fun and good HostileSpace after I tried it.
