Why does it go to a different page every time I refresh a page on these forums. image

I like to have a few different pages open at once.  But I can't refresh them once they are open, or it will change to a different page that I already have open!!

With a slow connection its a pain to keep going through all the pages to try to get back to the one I was just looking at.  The back button doesn't go back to it.

    It is because we are currently using session management to track where people are in the forums.  It makes it semi-convenient when a user is reading a forum and then pops over to the game list for a bit - when they return to the "Discussion" area it will take them back to where they were.

    I am re-designing much of the forums now.   As I do I will look into better ways to make the site work for people using "tabbed" browsers as they are getting very popular image
