Maybe if there is something enjoyable and worth sticking around for then maybe, but the days of waiting for potential to surface are gone except for the smallest of dedicated fans. I am not saying the devs of flying labs are not trustworthy, but at the same time am not going to pay for blind faith either.
Believe it or not, different people have different ideas of what's acceptable or boring gameplay. One of the major differences between immaturity and maturity is that those who are mature can see potential--in, say, both a product and in the people behind it--and be willing to stick with it. Children, on the other hand, can only grasp immediate satisfaction. That's why they cry and scream and have tantrums even about things they have nothing to do with or that have nothing to do with them--they don't know how to wait and don't have the experience to "see."
It's not a major portion of income to buy and then subscribe to a game for 3 months to try it out. If that is a major portion of one's income, then that person should be doing more constructive things with their money. It's not a major decision filled with angst to choose to try a game. Nor is it a major letdown to not find one that you like. It's normal to be disappointed, but for it to become some central part of one's life is a little strange considering the opportunity cost of trying the game is so low. But that's the nature of tantrums--the tantrum itself becomes more important than what the original tantrum was actually about.
And you pay for things in blind faith all the time--it's the nature of capitalism. It's just that you're apparently not aware of it.

Calling people immature, children, poor and angst filled doesn't make your points valid and well you know what they say about name calling.
Anyhow, I was talking about the industry as a whole and not seperating people into good/bad categories in an attempt to justify the state of a product. People are not immature nor children for wanting a product that is quality when they open the box and not have to wait an unknown number of months/years for the possibility that things will get better. That is the mentality that has lead to so many bad MMOs already.
Just like you said, and I also said where you quoted me (maybe I was unclear), people have different tastes. I have some strange hobbies and when people ask me why I do them my favorite response is "Some people collect stamps". That usually puts things in perspective. Anyhow, the devs own words echo what some players are saying.
Buying something on blind faith and continuing to pay a subscription on blind faith are two different things. I said subscribing, not buying a game to try it out. There is the difference you overlooked.
