A Union will take place in some manner.  It is the only logical thing to happen.  The EU overtook the US as the single largest economic force.  There are tooks of China forming an Asian Union and that would overtake as well.  So in order to protect ourselves we need to look beyond the US boarders in order to compete with the EU and the supposed AU that is coming.

So a North American Union in the form of the European Union could very well be coming.

    Currently playing:
LOTRO & WoW (not much WoW though because Mines of Moria rocks!!!!)

    Looking Foward too:
Bioware games (Dragon Age & Star Wars The Old Republic)

If after seeing that this is a private company printing these coins for profit you still believe this story, then there's only one solution:  You must cut off your head and run around like a chicken.  It's really the only productive thing you can do.  So, ready set go.

How do you explain the news feed on the site then? where they're advising investors to pay close attention to the Amero?

If you're talking about the CNBC clip...so Steve Previs from Jefferies International believes the Amero is a real thing...that means precisely what to me?

If you'd pay attention to the clip you'll notice a few things
    1) The guy cites the internet as his source...in other words he's just as kooky as some other folks
    2) The journalist interviewing him is obviously taken aback by the guy bringing it up...he wasn't expecting it.  And I'm fairly certain what's going through his mind is "Woah...made a mistake bringing this guy on".
And even if the Amero is real and is actually being discussed...so what?  There's nothing to fear but fear itself a great President once told the American public.  Running around afraid of a currency or a political union isn't going to solve anything.  And sorry if I don't automatically believe the website the OP posted or Steve Previs, who I'm sure is an otherwise normal economic analyst or whatever he does.
Think for yourself.  Don't let conspiracy theorists taint your mind, and don't believe everything the government or media tells you either.  Like most things, the answer lies somewhere in the center.

It's not so much the currency that I'm afraid of or even that it would be a politicial union (heck we have many alliances with other countries that could be considered unions) it's what this currency would represent. It would mean no more U.S. no more Mexico and no more Canada, no more American Sovereignty and no more American Identity and the way that supposedly it's being done (without the consent of congress) is not only sneaky and illegal but incredibly unconstitutional (just as is the war with Iraq if I remember correctly). That's what I'm worried about more than anything. It is the fact that we're being robbed of who we are and what we are all for the sake of a worthless piece of paper.

It's always about money. That's all companies and politicians care about. I have yet to see an honest politician this day and age. I'm starting to think we honestly should just do away with politics all together and start pulling through for our communities oursleves and not rely on any form of federal or even state government, just the local government which communities have a better control of. You know, kinda like the people shortening the leash on government power and letting the government know who's boss. But then again, I'm sure many here will disagree with me and talk about all the "wonderful" things the government has done at the expense of our liberties.

    1. You do realize a private company currently makes all American money? The Federal Reserve is as federal as Federal Express, and FedEx. Your own argument, supports the first post in this tread, and the fact that the Amero is real.

This is the reason why there is a "national debt", and why at the same time there is no national debt. The US goverment does have the power to print its own money. And it did so, under Abe Lincoln, and under J. F. Kennedy.  At present time, the Federal Reserve - banks that are privatly owned by private individuales, print money, then loan it to the US goverment, charging intrest.   For every dolloar the US goverment accepts from the Federal Reserve, there is instant debt (since instant intrest is being charged on each dollar.).

The goverment then buys more money from the privatly owned Federal Reserve to pay for the money it has purchased from the privatly owned Federal Reserve, in order to pay for the money it has purchased from the privatly owned Federal Reserve, in order to pay for the money it has purchased from the privatly owned Federal Reserve........ on and on... until....

    2. Kudos to the poster who linked to the story about the state of North Carolina making Amero Driver's Licenses:

    http://wnd.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=57502

Strange how the naysayers have not commented at all about this.

    -------------------------------

How can this all be stopped? By the 5th system of checks and balances pushed by the very people who created the US goverment. The right to bear arms was put in to keep the goverment in check. It is the final, 5th check and balance. Every patriotic American, who does not wish for America to lose its soviernty  must go out and secure guns, guns, and more guns. And ammo, ammo, and more ammo. Get some melee weapons too. (Bows, arrows, swords, knives, blackjacks, brass knuckles, spears, etc....). According to the founding fatehrs - Armed patriotic citizens is the only thing armed goverment agents hesitate over.

Interesting read about the drivers license it does make you wonder that, since they say the hologram is so that all the US officers have a consistent logo to look for for authenticity of the document. Then WHY did it have to be of the whole of North America as opposed to simply the U.S.? Unless they're planning on making canadians and mexicans our citizens, I don't see any reason why they couldn't have simply kept the U.S. map in there instead. Luckily, my GA state drivers license doesn't expire until 2017, and by then, according to the mayan calendar, it will be 5 years after the "end" so I'll be able to avoid having the new license (or mark of the beast as revelations says) and if they say anything to me, I'll simply point again at the expiration date, and if they don't like it, they can kiss my grits.

  • The true man of the year:

"When Rep. Guest asked participants to take out their driver's license and see what was on it," Palmer explained, "one gentleman was a state employee and on his license there was this hologram with the North American continent on the back. We were all surprised to see that on a North Carolina driver's license. Right there, that stopped the show."

Guest has formed a coalition called Legislators Against Real ID Act, or LARI.
