Other games like Runescape??

What other games are kind of like Runescape? Runescape had an awesome Pk system. That was the main reason why I still played Runescape till this day. I've tried Kal Online, Knights Online(sp?), Heros Online, Priston Tale, and Guild Wars. I do not like their PvP at all, I prefer PKing like Runescape. See, in Runescape, you have the ability to create a pure. Pures in Runescape are totally different than pures in lets say Guild Wars. The aspect is the same, but in GW, your character has to be a certain lvl in order to cast a certain spell. That doesn't apply to Runescape to an extent.

In Runescape, you can create a pure with high stats but his/her combat or total lvl would still be low. Example: You can create a character with 99 strength (max you can get) and 40 attack(minimum to wield rune sword) and be like lvl 60. This is a good idea because when you go pk and fight someone your lvl, you have an advantage of killing them faster with a high strength, and they might have trained attack and defense instead.

This freedom was truly powerful. A big reason is their "Wildy" system, it works extremely well, without it, pking would fail. There are levels of the "Widly" which you can progress, the deeper you go, the higher a high lvl can attack you. Example: A lvl 60 can only fight another lvl 60 in Wildy level 1. A level 60 can fight a lvl 80 in Wildy level 20, any less than wildy 20, and they can't fight eachothers.

I am looking to move on, and love pures-pking-and freedom. I dont remember the 2d game that pks similiar to runescape, but i am not interested in it. Looking for 3D graphics, if anyone know any other mmos that resembles runescape pking, then let me know, thanks.

I dont think you will find anything exactly the same. The closest game i can think off is Eve Online. Its a space game but PKing is awesome. Hope that helps a lil. I have played tons of mmos.

I never really cared for the PKing aspect of runescape and while it is a very simplistic MMO I will say this though of Runescape. I have yet to see another MMO out there that gives you the literally hundreds of options that Runescape does. The only thing missing is housing and decoration and you got yourself an excellent example of a sandbox game with content. Heck the fact that it has puzzles in dungeons makes it a notch better than a lot of the dungeons I currently see in MMO's

I've been around long time and haven't found that kind of PK system. But i suggest you try other pvp systems, you might find them a lot more fun.

Well even if you wanted to stay with RS because of its Pk system isnt really an option for you anymore, recently if you havent seen they did away with the old way of pking and completly took out all fighting in the wilderness...alot of the members are quitting now because of it.  Sorry its a little off topic but im looking for a new game too as soon as I find a good graphics card to fit my computer
