Dan Fortier, being the rabble-rouser that he is, has opened the voting on his own awards to coincide with our Reader's Choice Awards. The MMOWTF Awards celebrate and glorify all that you, the MMOWTF readers, hated about 2007.
This is it...the week where you get to lay the smack down on the worst of the year in typical gamer style. The MMOWTF Awards are back for another year much to the chagrin of editors everywhere. I had hoped that the lineup for 2007 would have fared better than last year, but alas it seems there are quite a few games just begging for your vote this year. I've done some serious brain drizzling this week to make this year's vote even more entertaining. Without further ado: let's get this party started!
If you were fortunate enough to have missed last year's vote, let me remind everyone of the rules: This year has the same seven categories from last year, plus a new one. I am once again without all that HTML fancy-pants stuff so voting will consist of posting your vote in the forum topic. This will insure transparency in the process and make sure that all votes are properly counted unlike recent elections. Please only vote once since I have to manually count and tally each and every post. The results will be posted on next weeks MMOWTF along with my personal picks in each area.

I've never seen anything that causes my eyes to bleed except Shadowbane... But it's old, so I vote for Knight Online.

World of Warcraft (Sorry pals, but after a year of playing I do not find it fun anymore... always the same lame thing... Blizzard should have added more content to its game! I'm on TR now!)

I know its fun and still on the hearts of many but don't make this a SWG bash again.
SWG has made many strides to be better short of a roll back. There are new players trickling in (along with old leaving). It now has Raids err ... Heroic Encounters that are pretty challenging for groups and the new Collection System.
What is pretty crappy, still, is the targeting and combat as its still not nailed down.
If I could vote for Vapor Ware of the year it would be Star Trek Online.
This is a fun one...It has to be 'launched this year'?

People feel this way for a reason. It's not just to screw SOE. ok...maybe for some it is. But face up to it, SWG isnt what it use to be and is now just taking up space. No, I'm not just a disgruntled vet, I have also played very recently and quit again right after the pathetic time sink chapter they just released.
Let people vote how they are gonna vote and dont try to impress your will upon them.

STO (As if Gods and Heroes was not enough...now more issues have arisen with this license...uh oh)
(PS: Why cancel SWG...it is on Station Access...so, some money still funnels here)

Fury (hands down...yes SWG sucks...but, the concept and playability is just too lousy, that Fury takes the cake here)
