A good f2p mmo with a lot of pvp?

JB15JB15 Member Posts: 15

Whats a good f2p mmorpg with alot of pvp.

I tried tibia but couldn't get into it

I tried Shadowbane but it didnt seem very populated

I tried 12sky but the pvp was more restricted than shadowbane or tibia.

What I liked about shadowbane or tibia was that you had the freedom to kill anyone in the game the only restrictions was how the community looked at you. I would love shadowbane right now if it was more populated, I was on the mourning server which was supposed to be the most populated and it was still a ghost town. In shadowbaine players built cities, formed nations and you were always scared for your life I mean even cities weren't safe, if a stronger guild came along a small city could easily be sacked and taken over. Almost everything in this game was run by other players. So can someone reccomend me a f2p mmo with the freedom of shadowbane but a way higher population I need something like that to play until AoC comes out which reminds me so much of shadowbane.

I tried Shadowbane, but it required too much PvE grind.  I want to play in a damn siege, not waste 20 hours of my life so I can get to the point where I can play in a siege, only to find out that it sucks or isn't for me.  And few games let me participate in PvP after only 20 hours.

20 hours is hardly a grind.  You would be better off just playing an FPS online.

If you seriously think that 20 hours of playtime isn't a long time then you seriously have to much time on your hands.

Guess I have too much time on my hands... Yay for more gaming time! =D

Seriously, 20 hours is nothing in MMORPGs. Go play an FPS if you want your pvp fix here and now. Sound like an impatient kid.

Planetside from SOE is quick MMO PvP, but not so much anything else.

Shadowbane is good if you are in a guild, giving you enemies, friends and RPG (city building, resource collecting).  But graphics are lacking as well as constant numbers.

Definetly try RF online, best pvp system in a f2p at least in my opinion, give it a shot.
