What Race and Career will you choose

When WAR comes out have you guys already decided on which Race and career or are you just gona go with the flow
For me im 100% positive im gona be a Dark Elf and 75% positive i will be Dark Guard depending on what the last 2 career choices are.
My reasons for picking this is iv been along time table top player of the Dark Elf armies and in WOW and LORTO i always like to play the melee fight/tank class
What about you guys? Which is gona be a popular race for me to crush and torture or work with?

I'm not sure yet, but i really like the Dark Elves too and if i'm choosing Dark Elves i probably will play a Witch Elf!
I havent decided yet. I usually play ranger/archer type classes and tank/melee type classes. I am kind of thinking of sticking with these as they are the classes I know and can learn the fine points best. A part of me though keeps saying I should try a magic class for once. So odds are you will see me as a Greenback or Dark elf. Who knows though, odds are I will change my mind 100 times in the first week of release trying diffrent things untill I think I found a class I want to level first.
On the bright side, being an alt freak like I am at least in WAR I will be able to enjoy RvR with ALL of my alts at every level instead of having to focus on one character to get to the RvR.
Nice choice. In the table top game after the witch elves have slaughter some foes they work them selves into a blood frenzy i hope there is something similer in WAR for them.
Lol? A blood frenzy? that already sounds sick! I hope they have something cools for the witch elf, they probably have just like every other class so i'm not worrying, but we still have to wait around 7 long months
I won't know for sure until I try each class I have any interest in out, but right now the High Elf Sword Master looks good to me. I like sword fighter/mage hybrid classes and the Sword Master is pretty close to that.

Preferred Playstyle: Roleplay/adventurous, in a sandbox game.
I'm just going to list my favorite career for each archetype.
1. Tank - Knight of the Blazing Sun
2. Melee DPS - White Lion
3. Ranged DPS - Engineer
4. Support/Healer - Warrior Priest / Disciple
Chaos Chosen!! Why? Because it is the closest to the Paladin from DAOC!!! Which was by far the greatest class ever in an MMO!!
On the lowly order side i would have to say the engineer would be awesome to play. Seems like a very original class. And boy i love the stunties
Im going to be whatever the greenskin tank is i forget whats its called. (too many games ive played lol)
I'm definitly rolling a Greenskin, probably a Choppa or a Shaman.
The Black Orc is the name and they look badass.
Personally, I am undecided but there are a few choices that are very appealing.
Relatively Basic Human Races
The Warrior Priest - Totally makes me remember DAoC Cleric. I also watched a trailer for another Warhammer game recently, Mark of Chaos. The trailer featured a Warrior Priest of Sigmar and he looked rather groovy with his hammer and holyness.

The Chaos Chosen - I am also interested in these guys. But my interests are based on the fact they have great heavy armor and are just massive. Other than that, I don't know alot about them.
Elves
Swordmaster - Right now, I am liking this class for the high elves. Only because I feel the archmage and shadow warrior are the wrong class for me. I don't feel like being squishy or hiding around with a bow.
Black Guard - Why? Because they look bloody fantastic. Evil, gothic, pointy armor and a great polearm. My kind of class.
Greenskins and Stunties
Dwarves - Unfortunately I never have liked playing a dwarf so I know I wont be making one.
Choppa - It's all about the choppin. Thought I am slightly wary about playing as an orc. Due to the fact I will be inclined to "Be Talkin Lik Dis" and don't want to make myself feel stupid.
But overall right now my choice would be a Warrior Priest
Divine Power, Healing, Warhammers, and Heavy armor sounds great to me so far.
I was going with the Warrior Priest even before I saw that video. Now it just cements it.
I'm going to be a Chaos Chosen. Nothing could be more perfect.

Probably the squig goblin, a Black Guard or something Chaosy.

Does anyone remember the loyalty people had to their realm in DAoC? I'm not even sure WAR will let you create an alt of the opposing faction on the same server. They don't let you in DAoC.

Does anyone remember the loyalty people had to their realm in DAoC? I'm not even sure WAR will let you create an alt of the opposing faction on the same server. They don't let you in DAoC.
No X-Realm in WAR

A: No, you'll have to make a choice. One or the other.
Yeah you cant x-realm in war.. Just like in WOW on a PvP server.
But I will definately try out other classes on other servers.
At first I was thinking about the High Elf Archmage, but seeing as it looks like a pain in the ass to play, I may try a Dark Elf Sorcerer.
With PvE raiding, it has never been a question of being "good enough". I play games to have fun, not to be a simpering toady sitting through hour after hour of mind numbing boredom and fawning over a guild master in the hopes that he will condescend to reward me with shiny bits of loot. I would have to say most likely for a Empire Knight or High Elf Archmage
Empire: Witch Hunter
High Elves: White Lion (if the speculations are correct)
Dark Elves: Disciples of Khaine
Thats it for me unless new races and classes are added. I will roll many alts within those three classes with different specs and gear.
Guild Wars 2 is my religion
High Elf Swordmaster it is..my wits and my blade will be sharp.
