If I sub right now will I be charged twice or would it charge me for the rest of the days i use? Thanks, have a wisdom tooth removal coming up with some deep roots so I will be in bed a while and really want to play

I think if you are re-subscribing to the game, you will be charged the monthly fee upon reactivating and again at the beginning of next month. If you are starting a new account, you should have the time until the beginning of the next month for free.
You will not get charged for a full month when you are only getting 10 days.
In order to charge at the beginning of the month, they do the calculations and charge you for the 10 days or so of subscription plus a full month. I'm not sure if they will simply wait until the beginning of January for initial billing, or charge you immediately for one full month and then wait until the start of February for your second payment (adding the 10 days there), but you will not get charged for 20 days of December in which you were not subscribed.
