Just stated the trial for this game and have been playing on Thelanis. I was wondering if there is a selected server that most everyone play on or if the DDO servers are balanced population wise and if it even matters what server your on in this game. But for the most part MMOs have good servers, decent servers, and servers no one plays on but the elitist pricks.
Have to say im enjoying the game so far, and will prolly be playing the game when I find myself not wanting to play EvE that night or if I need to get the erge to play some D&D between my Sunday gamenights. I was wondering how much "play" you can get out of this game, will I be able to do everything in the first 30days if I play a good bit (2-8hours a day) or will I have to sub up again?
Also, what are the highend dungeons and raids like in this game: Tank and spank, puzzles, platforming ect?
Thanks for the help

The time it takes you to get to the level cap depends on the type of player you are and who you play with. If you just zerg through the quests trying to race to level cap like many do you'll get there quick but miss most of the game. If you can find a group of people that take it slow you can really enjoy the dungeons and everything the designers put in them, you could take all year to get to the level cap.
As for the high-end dungeons, I couldn't tell you, I've never hit the level cap and I've been playing since launch

DDO Permadeath guilds
I currently play regularly on two servers, Khyber and Argonnesson. In my experience the servers (admittedly from my limited experience of two) are almost exactly the same, the going rate on a few items on the Auctions might be a little different but otherwise they seem about the same.
I originally played on Aundair but it is now the Khyber server.
So far it's been great. Always a lot of groups looking for players and a lot of quality people that know the game and can give you tons and tons of help from the get go.
And last I had checked, there were quite a few guilds that were recruiting, so it would be easy to find a crowd to run with.
