Game Character Casting Call [Just for Fun...]

So I saw this page where some fans cast their choices for a HALO movie: omghalo.com/article/49514/halo-movie-casting-call/ and it got me thinking of all the gaming characters I've seen on the net being cast by fans.  Here are some:

Brad Pitt as Leon Kennedy

Batista as Marcus Fenix

James Caviezel as Altier

Edward Norton as Gordon Freeman

Djimon Hounsou as the Special Agent from Crackdown

Dominic Purcell as Kratos

Mark Wahlberg as Max Payne [This movie is actually being made]

Mark Vanderloo as Shepard [He was the actual model for the character]

Sam Elliot as old Solid Snake

George Clooney as Sam Fisher

 

So... am I missing any?  Makes me wonder who would play other characters like the Prince of Persia, which is actually being made into a film soon.  Feel free to add any of your own nominations for game character actors.

Who the hell considers Clooney to be a bad ass?  Or for that matter, who considers him a good actor?  The guy's acting range goes from monotone to slightly pissed off, that's about all he has ever proven himself capable of.  I don't understand how people like him and Ben Affleck get work...oh wait, yes I do, it's called Hollywood being about knowing people, not acting ability.

Yeah because there is so much to be happy about with these boards right?  How about I go post a happy comment in the thread about how the government is trying to control my mind?  How about I go post about how proud I am that some idiot murdered a todler and then poored egg into her mouth?  Oh, maybe I should go talk about how happy I am for the Native Americans forming their own misguided country where they can further pursue their alcoholism?

Get off my case, you wouldn't be saying a word to me if we had views that agreed with one another on religion and politics.  I don't see you telling Infliction to lighten up whenever he posts something negative, or Gameloading.  I don't feel a need to post a picture of myself in this thread, it's not as though I've ever posted a picture when it wasn't in a humorous or poignent context.  So keep your idiotic sarcasm to yourself.  You want me to be positive?  Give me something to be positive about and get off my back about how negative I seem about something as stupid as a list of celebreties who supposedly look like video game characters.

ps.  I know that the Mighty Rasta did the voice of Cole from Gears of War...but friggen Ronnie Coleman should play him in the Gears of War movie.

I would if there is a case study for 'roid rage over the internet...you would be an interesting study...just flip a switch and boom.  Speaking of 'roids, good conection picture there...pretty spot on.

The Kratos guy is WAY too narrow; I think that matchup is more on hairstyle than body/face shape.

Sam Elliot FTW, his attitude in most movies he plays is a perfect fit for the old snake too. and besdies that I love his westerns, I know, who could love westerns but Tombstone and Conagher are two of my favorite movies.

Sam Elliot is pretty cool...for reasons I really can't describe...like he is cool just talking in The Big Lebowski.

The most look pretty alike. With some makeup they will probably look as twins. Wouldn't want to see a single of these movies though, would probably be crap all of them.

Agreed... sadly there's just something that gets really lost in translation... and becomes market fueled instead... stories re-written by people who don't know or understand the original content because they think it would 'sell better' and yet they all flop.  This kind of thing can ONLY be successful if it is a PASSION PROJECT by someone who understands the source material.
