Okay, just kidding. Going through the game list it is tough to tell. I am wanting to say Wish, but I think I will go with UXO. Not sure why, just guessing.
Well damn. I make my post, then go check the news and UXO is already canceled. Guess I default back to Wish.

yay dark and light i signed up for beta and they said they would email when i get accpected but they havnt sent me even a new letter in like one year
i think they should cancel EQ2 i mean whos gunna play that

I find it highly unlikely that DnL would be cancelled. Its not niche. Its exactly the same as DAoC, just on a bigger scale. If DAoC can do it, so can DnL

DnL?
Sry, but DnL release date is this January, and the open beta will start in October. By the way, they´re showing the progress of the game every week with 4 screenshots in IGN. (Every week)
The main webpage isn´t updated because they´re working in a new one, but if you go get some info of the game, the devs are making lots of dev chats and interviews.
I mean, honestly I don´t think DnL will be cancelled.
Of course DnL isn´t a DAoC at big scale. There will be lots of cool Tradeskills, and a lot of kinds of mounts.
The RvR will be quite similar, yeah, but as you´ve said, at big scale. With big strongholds and really HUGE cities to conquer.
I bet it´ll be Darkfall or Wish. Maybe mourning? I don´t know.
If WoW come out most mmorpg,s die no population left for them, all will go to wow:P
Games like ac2 will be dead then,they have already very low pop.
Maybe games like FFXI and EVERQUEST2 will go steady on pops but most mmorpgs if WoW will live up to expectations will dissapear.
But prolly talk nonsense here:P
For all players in the world right now who play mmorpg to many mmorpg,s out there to populate the worlds.
So lot off those mmorpgs have to do with couple off hundred peeps in there worlds thats not many players to survive as mmoprg.

I can only hope AO dies. It was a great game before SL. Funcom needs to be taught a lesson.

Why give these games so much hype when they they get cancled.
First of all...there is a very small chance that the release of an MMO will kill off another.. It's already proven that if a player plays one game, he or she won't leave that game for another until they are absolutely positive that they'll enjoy the new game more. Most players will keep subscriptions going for more than one game.
DnL isn't going down...the support in Europe alone kills what it has in America, so it doesn't really matter. I'll put my bets on either TMO (since it almost got cancelled once already) or Wish.

Not saying they will be good or not. But i could not imagine launching a game at the same time as EQ2 and WoW.

But I am doing the everquest 30 free trial and I think if they put it in full 3D everquest 2... it will become good because of alot of content in the first everquest game... If they do the same thing to this nice looking game it will hit it big... I am not saying this as a come back but I am saying this will be going big when it comes out... Besides... WHY would sony cancel this?? lol

A game like Ac2 is not going to die.
Turbine is way to dedicated to their games. They have hired more new people to work on AC2 in the last couple months. They are readvertising the game. Redone Crafting, the list goes on and on.
Each month turbine is putting out more and more content, Bug fixes, etc.. The game just keeps getting better and better and better.
Ac2 right now is IMO one of the BEST MMORPG's on the market, it had a bad start but turbine has shown there dedication to this game and franchise that this game is going nowhere.
Here is somthing I have learned while playing MMORPG's:
-There are some games that come out that look and feel AWSOME when you first start, these games do such a great job at getting the person hooked at the begining that the devs end up slacking or somthing goes wrong where as you keep playing the game gets worse and worse. (Games like COH felt this way to me, Game felt great when I started, very bug free, but as you played more and more it got boring.)
- Then there are games like (AO,AC2,etc) that maybe had a ruff start and lost allot of people because most people are not patient with the devs or they think the devs will not show the dedication the game will need to make it a success. These games have proven time and again that if the DEVS are pationate about fixing and making there game great they will be around for ALONG time.
The sad thing about games like AO,AC2 is they will never reach the populations of games like FFXI,EQ, etc. Does Populations mean the game suck? HECK NO, in fact in my experience having more population can in allot of ways KILL your gameplay (Camping, Economy can go to hell, etc.)
To many MMORPG's now adays focus way to much on the "MM" part of "MMORPG" and not the "ORPG" part. Populations do mean it can be hard to find groups and such but that is all they mean. Populations do not mean a Game is bad.
Personally games like AO, AC2, etc are in allot of ways more exciting to play since you get to see the game go through changes and BECOME great. Games like AC2 change EVERY MONTH you actually feel the world progressing and changing. THIS IS RARE in MMORPG's. I played EQ for many years and I never felt the level of progression in a character, Community, World that I feel in games like AC,AC2.
Anyways for all the people that think a game like AC2 is going to die you are all flat wrong, I have been listening to people say that from day 1 and ac2 is still hanging on. Why? Because the devs CARE!
