LFG- Crafting?

Hullo,

Lately I've been scouring around MMORPG looking for a game that I'd like. So far I've tried..

EVE Online- The game was incredibly overcomplicated, and the whole thing was just very bland and repetitive, not to mention the incredibly long time it takes to get between stations and asteroids, etc.

WoW- I like this one a bit, but the Crafting system is incredibly bland at the moment. Although the Combat is enjoyable, Tradeskills matter more to me in a game.

PlanetSide- Even know this game has no Crafting, it's pulled me in quite a bit. It's a very fun game that has no grinding whatsoever, and made me immersed within minutes. Although it's incredible, it's a FPS, so I'm looking for alternatives.

Anarchy Online- I like this, it's F2P with P2P expansions, but the Crafting system is near-impossible to get started with, I'm not sure if it even exists at all. Some features like the Notum Towers and Player-owned Housing drew me in, but I've been mostly bored by it.

City of Heroes/Villains- A good game, but it's mostly too different for me. I still have a Trial activated, and I've found myself experimenting with the Hero Creator more than I've actually been playing the game.

Tabula Rasa- I haven't exactly tried this, but considered it. I got turned away by the 3-day Trial, simply for the reason that it usually takes me an entire day to get it downloaded, installed, and working, and then a while for me to get a feel of the game.

Ryzom- Once I finally decided to try it(A few days ago) I found out it's been shut down. Lucky me..

Wurm Online- A very good game, but immense amounts of lag and a very small Crafting system, plus the need to suscribe for Citybuilding features, has turned me away for the most part. If only it had a Free Trial for Premium..

SWG- I liked it, but the entire game was incredibly laggy, and even crashed when I tried to do certain things in the Tutorial. My brother also tried it on his better computer, and by the look of it it's very boring even when it does work.

Vanguard- Seems very interesting, but the lack of a free trial has prevented me from trying it.

I've looked at EQ2 and EQ, but both of them seem to have no emphasis on Crafting. Both of the websites don't even mention it.

So, I'm looking for..

-Crafting system that isn't incredibly repetitive/boring (a la WoW)

-Some sort of Player-owned Housing system or similar

-Reasonably fun combat

-Solo-able. I'm not a group person

And for other misc. info,

-I don't care about PvP, but if the game is entirely/mostly PvP, then I'm probably not going to like it.

-I don't care about the Community either. I usually don't group or join a guild unless I'm forced to, and I rarely join any Worldchat channels, so I don't care if the community is horrid.

-Grinding isn't exactly my favorite thing, but I don't really mind it.

-I don't care about incredible graphics, and I don't want a game that forces you to have High/Normal graphics settings on all the time.

And now I wait for a reply.

eq2 actually has decent crafting. it's a little more complicated that wow's add this and get that being that events happen during crafting that you have to counter with learned skills. i'm not generally a crafting fan, but i like it. and as a low level (umm.. whatever crafting profession made furniture) i actually made some money selling sconces and wall chains for housing decorations on the vendor.

*edit* hmm.. reading the bulk of the post and what you're looking for EQ2 does seem like a solid choice.

there is player housing, instanced, but still housing.

    very soloable

depending on the server fair to good communities (use one of the rp servers)

Thanks! I actually just downloaded the EQ2 trial last night to test it out- I'm pretty satisfied with it so far.
