in Everquest II
Is anyone else experiencing this or just me? The game seems to run fine for me in all the other zones. I have decent comp hardware. All my specs in the game aren't maxed, but they're around high, and I keep shadows off. Just wondering if anyone else was experiencing a lot of lag while in the new area due to it being a seemless zone 
Just would be nice to run around it with it not being so dang choppified :P

I experience a fair amount of lag when moving from one area to another. The worst for me seems to be Terens Grasp in Kylong Plains, especially when I'm just flying through on the sokokar.
I don't have a brilliant pc, and usually run at balanced settings with a fairly low frame rate. one thing I've got into the habit of doing before i start up EQ2 is putting my pc in standby mode first. It cuts down on a lot of unnecessary windows applications for a while, and EQ2 runs much better for it. Not a perfect fix I know, but I can usually run the game for a few hours after doing this with a lot less lag.
Currently returned to Norrath after disliking Hyboria.
