It seems rather annoying that you cant respend points, so i am here to ask what I should put stuff in to be an exobiologist. I took a look at one of the character builders and worked this out:
Lightning: 5
Tools: 5
Cure: 5
Bio Armor: 5
Injection Gun: 5
Reconstruction: 5
Hortimonoculus: 5
Anyone see any major flaws with this?
Also, what should I be putting my attribute points into?

I haven't tried exobiologist yet so i can't comment on your build, however, here's something just as good.
You CAN respend points! Its called cloning and is a major feature in TR. Try to complete a few ToO so you can get extra cloning credits in addition to the ones you use prior to class advance. You can then use those extra credits to clone your character and as with all clones, all skill points are refunded.
