I personally haven't maxed-out a toon in anything; the closest I came was double-mastery in SWG pre-NGE. (I didn't begin the jedi grind...didn't have the time or the patience for it.) I agree completely with most of the posters on this thread, though--the last 20% of most MMOs is usually the least fun, and the endgames rarely justify the effort.

I'll admit to this too, to a degree. Around 10 years or so of playing MMOs, starting with UO. I have played just about everything thats been released and some that haven't. Only max char I've ever had was using all my skill points in SWG pre-NGE.
