Game with meaningful pvp

I'm currently stuck on WoW after trying out lots of trials, betas, and F2P MMOs. The only one that has really interested me thus far is EVE but I'm not sure I'll have the time to committ to it as it seems to be a fairly hardcore game. I'm seriously tired of the meaningless PVP in WoW and other games but I do like its polish.

So, does anyone know of any well populated games with a PVP system that allows territory captures and things like that? (Also Lineage 2 is not on my list because I really don't have the time for that game.

    Perfect World might be something to try: www.perfectworld.com.my

    It has a territory war system.  Its a pretty cool game overall, but the english version is based out of Malaysia.  From the US, I get a 300ms+ ping.  That is just too laggy for me.
