Can someone tell me how good or indeed how bad this system is,I have a chance to buy it but not sure if it is a good investment,Thanks guys.

Intel Pentium Dual Core 2 x 3Ghz, 500GB Samsung Sata2 HDD, 2 keer 1024MB DDR2 geheugen, DVD multi brander, GeForce 8800GT TD PCI-E 512MB VGA kaart,

Asus merk mainboard en

550 Watt zachte voeding met 12cm fan

It will cost me around 600 euro`s (which i think is the same as some of your guys dollars)

    What your getting for your money is a good deal but the CPU is going to stop the Grapics card from performing as well as it could (atleast i'd be supprised if it didn't) the current generation of CPU's are the Athlon X2 (4400+ or better) and the intel core 2 duo (any E6xxx). If the mainboard supports the core 2 then you can upgrade the processor when you can afford it. Not a difficult task aslong as your careful.

     

    If you post some local websites and let us know what your bugget is we can show you what we'd buy in your position.

     

    EDIT my mistake the current CPU's from AMD are the phenom.
