Didnt post
I made a rather lengthy post, didnt browse the site in a another window like last time this was happening.
When I click submit, I went to the bottom, and only sombody elses new post appeared, could it be we submitted at the same time and somthing fumbled it up?
after 6 or so years, I had to change it a little...

Straight from the FAQ:

There is a slim chance that our servers reset during your post. This happens a few times a day and typically is caused from a system crash which causes your session data to be lost. For this reason you might want to copy/paste long posts to another safe spot before submitting them.
Our system uses a very advanced in-memory data management system that minimizes database use and enhances the speed of the site. However, we apparently have a few bugs in it that cause it to crash when we experience high volumes of traffic. We hope to fix this soon

Ya, sadly the crashes are gettnig more common now with the high traffic loads this week. We are commonly seeing 400-500 people online now and this is causing us extra strain. Sadly I have still not eliminated the source(s) of the server crashing...but I have drastically improved them...but there is still much work to do.
