Im a new player! some questiosn <3

Well I am currently downloading the Free Trial off of the DDO website and I must admit that I am truly excited! I am currently subscribed to Tabula Rasa and I am totally bored with the lack of content in that game!

I have some questions about this game and I would greatly appreciate for your help!

1) Does this game have any crafting system? I really enjoy a crafting system and the one in TR was absolutley horrible and is one of the reasons as to why i am quiting.

2) I have never played DnD in my life; will it be hard to understand a lot of the gameplay elements in this game because of that? will I not understand how equipment works and such? Do they have a good tutorial to teach me about this?

3) Is the game all dungeons? is there any solo content? What is the level cap?

4)  what is a good server to be on? I enjoy ROle playing so what is the most populated RP server?

Thank you for all your help!<3

    1. Crafting is coming, the first part of the system is in the next free module (probably within 30 days).

    2. The learning curve is certainly higher in DDO than most games, particularly without a basic D&D understanding...but you've also got a great community and group based game, so just ask!

    3. Primarily quests are dungeons, but there's also several outdoor exploration areas as well.  You CAN solo, but this is a game about grouping.  Level cap is currently 14, will be 16 after next mod.  Levels in DDO are very different than other games.

    4. No idea which has the most RP, but all have RP guilds.

Another question thread , oh well here goes

    1. No. at this time DDO doesnt have any crafting, but it is right around the corner. I dont know how it going to work because I havent bothered with checking it out yet...

    2. If you havent played any DnD games before, it will take some time to get your head around everything, but its not overwhelming. Where its really tricky (and maybe the best around) is the character customization. read some fansites, learns some builds, if not, I recommend sticking to a pure class. The turtorial is good, not super, but should teach you the basics...

    3. The game is 90% dungeons with some outdoor quests and areas... but they are IMO the best dungeons / adventures you can get in a MMO game. Level cap is 14 (soon 16) but there is 4 sub level pr main level, sisi?

    4. I play on a EU server .. Dont think I can help you with this one...

Edit:.. Crap Vincenz! why didnt you type alittle faster? could have saved me some typing
