I need a new MMO
but I fear coming here is like a black man going to a KKK rally to find out who their favorite black actor is.
The people on mmorpg are so freaking negative and hateful, I am almost afraid to ask.....
What is the game for me?
I am a UO vet that played from 1997 until arouund 2004.
I played SWG from Late 2003 until the NGE and then started back about 4 months ago.
I tried Ryzom and it was nice, but not my thing.
I tried WoW and I didn't like it and really cannot answer why.
I was a beta tester and player for LOTRO and I loved the play and graphics but did not like the lack of PvP and being a bad guy.
I really like CoH/CoV because it is refreshingly different.
I tried DAOC, and shortly Vanguard. I have tried Anarchy and Horizons.
Tell me what I need!!! I am not looking for a price! I am willing to try anything with or without money!!!

If you like FPShooters and MMO's you could try World War II Online - Battleground Europe.
The graphics are a little outdated becuase it has been around for maybe 6 or so years.
If you can look past the graphics and enjoy it for what it really is, a realistic WWII Simulation, you will love it.
I signed up a week ago and I am having a blast. If it is difficult at first don't be turned off, it takes time.
Also, just know that Allies = Easy Mode..... Axis = Challenge
If you don't like MMOFPS games my only recommendation is PoTBS until Warhammer or AoC comes out.
Most of the ones I was going to recommend you have already played.
Someone else might be able to help a little more than me. Maybe someone who has played other games.

SWG vet here and I to like CoX but got burnt once I maxed my villian so I went to Vanguard, I didnt think at the time it was worth the 15$. So I left and ended up in Guildwars it was fun for a bit but then on to a new game, EQ 2 all the while going back and forth from CoX and SWG. I have been waiting for PoTbS so I havent been playing anything lately but if PoTbS falls short its on to AoC for me all the while dreaming of a Bio- version of SWG a KoToR mmo one can only hope. so I say this to you if it looks good try it if not dont the worst thing that can happen is you lose a few bucks and your more the wiser. so if you try PoTbs ill be on the Morgan server flying the Dead Jester. hope to see you there.
