Mass Effect coming to PC?

"Sorry folks, this is just another rumor at this stage. Could BioWare make Mass Effect for the PS3 (or the PC, or some other platform) in the future? Yes we could, but we are not working on a PS3 version currently."





Said nothing about not working on the PC version so that means it's already in the works? I think however EA will make them bring it to the PS3 anyways but aslong as it's coming for the PC i'm a happy bunny.

    Well considering there other majour games went cross platform a year after release i guess its possable.

    The only other platform other than Xbox that BioWare has made games for is the PC.

    Microsoft owns the publishing and distributing rights to Mass Effect. All 3 will be exclusive to the 360. Microsoft has a vested interest in it's Games For Windows platform. Therefor we may also see the Mass Effect franchise on the PC sometime in the future.

    Anybody trying to convince themselves that Mass Effect will be on the PS3 is living in a dreamworld. EA will NOT be publishing the next Mass Effect's but instead be listed as a developer with BioWare.

    Nope.

    Chris was addressing a thread that was suggesting Mass Effect would be coming out on the PS3. He was addressing the PS3 issue directly, and using the PC as examples of other platforms that Mass effect is NOT being developed for.

    I'm pretty sure it said in the FAQ (from their official site) that "for now it would be Xbox 360 only but you never know what would happen in the future" or something like that. I'm hoping for Mass Effect for PC big time personally.

    I refuse to buy a console for just one game, so I'm honestly hoping it will go to PC soon, and the PS3 can personally stick it! It's a crappy system anyway

    There are other games out there. Some research would do you wonders.

    All the games i want are on the PS3 in 2008 but then again i wanted lots of games on the PS3 in 2007 which sucked int he end so i'm going to wait to see what happens. The 360 doesn't interest me cause usually all the games come out on the PC or are on other consoles and the Wii all my mates own so i don't need one seeing as you need to playw ith mates to have fun on it.

    Looks like I'll never get to play Mass Effect because I'm *not* buying a console. Sad, but oh well.

    Bioware has turned its back on us PC gamers, it seems. They're not the first company to do so and I'm sure they wont be the last, either.

    Not really, it's a very solid system Imo.

    you know,from the day EA bought bioware, everything is possible.

    EA is a multiplatform releaser.

    more systems, more money
