I just cant play another mmorpg till SOE brings back a old school EQ server

EQ is still bar none my favorite MMORPG, i loved every bit of it, from exploration etc. Why does SOE keep torturing us by not releasing a old school EQ server? is it really that hard? I think when progression server was first released SOE saw how popular it is, 400 people at all times at mutiple zones. So heres a couple ideas they can do

1. Make a hardlock progression server, Make a server starting at everquest 1 then every 3-6 months SOE unlocks a new expansion.

2. Multiple classic servers. What i mean by this is SOE can do a servers for people for their favorite SOE time era, Everquest classic, EQ up to kunark EQ up to POP and EQ up to LDON, anything after that was pure garbage and doesnt need a server.

 

I really wish EQ would make bring the dreams of thousands come true again

Only thing that will kill World of warcraft is World of warcraft 2

       SOE (LTJ)  should heed your request since they have full control of the franchise.  Good luck with that!

    SoE stated numerous times that the progression server was  big hit, only failure was that they allowed the players to unlock content and expansions which was a very bad idea in which the progression server failed

    Only thing that will kill World of warcraft is World of warcraft 2

    I'm sure if SOE thought it would be profitable, they would do just that.  I think they don't because they want people to keep buying expansions.

    Hehe, like SOE would actually do something about it. EQ is the biggest hack game out there, noone gets banned for it because every player = $ according to SOE.

     

    And OP, get over yourself lol, or move this to the forgotten realms of EQ.

    Planetside was fine before and is fine now. The expansion had a pre-mature release.. ZOMG END OF WORLDS!

    EQ1 has to many expansions yes, but wtf do you expect from a game as ancient as that. They still need to make some sort of profit and keep people interested. New content is a good way to do that. Plus they've been upgrading graphics even more, but whatever.

    EQ2 is awesome.

    VG is getting better

    MXO was a dumbass game to begin with

    POTBS is ok, but not my style.

    Either accept it or move the hell on already. You people bitching all the time isn't going to do a damn thing.. haven't you learnt that yet? Obviously not.

    Ok if they suck. Move on and get over it, but this is a matter of opinion. I so happen to disagree with you, but argueing this will get no where.
