Retrieving Online ID

in Final Fantasy XI

I played FFXI a few years ago and really liked the game, but hated the economy. It was also hard to a monk to get grps in the 50s back then (not sure if it is now). I got the Bard subjob and I like that class a lot anyway, so would be playing the Bard I think...

My question is, where can I retrieve my Online ID, I can't remember it. I see they are restoring old characters, and while I didn't delete mine....they may have after three years, lol.

Also, is there a free trial where I can at least start downloading the game, since I am sure it will take awhile?

edit - I just read in the Linkshell forum, that there is no free trial download...

    The only way I really know of is calling Customer Support. As long as you have your other info for the account (CC# and all that good stuff) , they should be able to give you your POL ID. Good luck on that.
