Im looking for something to play until I get my new video card next week so I can play lotro and oblivion. Graphics arent as important as gameplay to me and im running my old fx5200 nvidia card at the moment. Im mostly into grouping games and I enjoy pve and pvp that actually take skill I like a challenge if that helps thanks all.
Oh and genre sci fi or fantasy no pirate games:)

For me top 3 are Perfect World, Dream of Mirrors Online, and Mabinogi (CB in Jan.30, I believe).
PW---> best pvp and decent pve, DOMO----> great pve & average pvp (not fully implemented yet), and Mabinogi ---> best pve but pvp- meh.
Just my opinion after trying nearly all top f2p on the list, including rappelz, GE, flyff, 9dragons & silkroad.
Anarchy Online is good too, so I heard, but it's a bit dated.
I thought ao has a monthly fee according to the game list.
Assuming graphics are the only thing your after in this list.
1. Vanguard.
2. Lord of the rings
3. EvE online.

I could also recommend AO, have had some fun in it, especially with friends to group with. Not playing myself anymore, but it's still free without the exansions I believe.

Basic AO is free, but its an absolute nightmare to install...patcher doesnt work properly and the pay to play version of the game is if you want to upgrade to the expansions (gotta pay for those) and then a monthly sub starts.
AO has been free for quite a while now.
That is a common problem. AO Is acually free to play but the expansions are pay to play. But playing without the expansions isnt a big deal. Ill always recommend EVE online 14 day trial. Its not free to play but its worth gining a shot if your into hardcora to the extreme pvp.
I said gameplay is more important then graphics hehe dont think you read the title but thanks for the advice, hek I grew up on atari and super nes ill play anything with awesome gameplay.
Well I dont know about ao seems like a big grind game, and this dream game I think ive seen it around online and believe it might be to high for my card at this very moment anyone other suggestions?
DDO has very nice graphics, but also runs great on older systems on the low settings. You can try the 10-day trial at http://trial.ddo.com. The gameplay is unlike any other MMO that I know of and a great combat system.
DDO is all about grouping and quests, though with some experience you can solo most quests for a fun challenge. There is PVP but nothing serious, just tavern brawls.
It will be a BIG download though

Nah ive tried ddo a few times good gameplay but that game did not feel right to me I really couldnt stick with it for many levels and forces grouping to the point I couldnt do anything. Would be a good game if lower fee or free anyways im only looking for free no monthly fee games I will be playing lotro for a fee next week anyways.
I guess I was wrong about dream of mirror it seems I can run it downloading now.
Best free "gameplay" without worrying about graphics?
Anarchy Online
Perfect World
Guild Wars (has very low system requirements)
You should be able to run any of those on a toaster and they are all very good.
I guess ill give ao a shot after dream I honestly could not get into perfect world felt like your typical asian grind to me.
1. Guild Wars (Requires almost nothing, and you get amazing graphics back )
2. Perfect World
3. Anarchy Online
Ah, thought you just wanted something to hold you over for a week . You didn't mention strategy games, but I've been enjoying Travian (www.travian.com), It's sort of like an Age of Empires MMO without the 3d graphics
