What the hell is the point of giving "special" gifts to everybody, if everybody gets them?  Then they're not special!  DUH.

And you can't even kill with it, because it's a "collectible"!    It's about as "collectible" as the Smeagol figure in the $70 The Two Towers gift set.  In fact, it's even less collectible, because not everyone had the Smeagol figure shoved in their face for free, even if they didn't even want it!

Ooo, and it "emits sound".  Ladi-fricking-da.  Let me guess, it "emits" the sounds of an animal being beaten.  Sounds about right.

NCsoft is so stupid.

    Don't you see... they are trying to make the people who cancled their subscription before to subscribe again just to get this "limited" edition weapon.::::01::

    I guess it's something they want to give all their players who have started from pretty much the beginning, so that in a year or so they could go around bragging that they've been with the game for a year. :P

    It's not the first time a game has done this, I know a bunch that did.

    If you're going to flame, at least flame about something that is actually wrong.

    Let me put this in one sentence for you because I know you only read one sentence of every paragraph due to you last statement so here is why you are dumb it says that everyone gets one it is awarded to the highest level on each server so there you go problem solved kthxbye.

    no see, for those dedicated guys who will still be playing l2 in a couple years it will be a collectible

    let's say 100% of the people playing now get one

    after most peoples gamecards are up (august) you lose 25%

    now 75% have one.

    a year passes, most people quit, you're down to 25%

    another year, make that 10%

    hell, who knows what happens after another year, then if you are like one of the only 200 to have one, you can sell it for, o..say 2milion atleast.

    that's what makes it a collectible

    My mistake. You see, I go by what is posted on www.l2orphus.com. I like their site and they have quite the good community. I haven't been on it in days but a while ago, a friend linked my to a post there where they were ranting about how all the chinese farmers and botters were going to get it, since they leveled the quickest.

    I guess they, and I, were wrong. Truely my mistake.
