I am really bored with games now. ive played all the big p2p games and im ready to stop paying and find some small 2d f2p that i can happily invest time in that is atleast slightly challenging because all the 3d games now are all wow and solo fest tabula rasa so just throw some game at me and ill see if i havnt played it. yes flame me to because i havnt been flamed in awile.

Not 2d but Rubies of Eventide. Give it a go. In depth character development (you can screw up and affect our character) Challenging, and group play.

Guildwars is your friend... no monthly payment.. just buy the game and play forever.

Go buy a copy of Call of Duty 4 for the PC.   Play until March 25th, and come back and try Age of Conan.

Guild Wars is a good idea. Not to much of a grind. DAOC grind is real quick as well

If your looking for something like a sandbox MMORPG, try SWG (yes there, I said it!) or Saga of Ryzom

If not for 299 meg freeware download is a pretty good game on fileplanet called THE WHITE CHAMBER. Its a Horror sci-fi 2d game a bit like Monkey Island

I actually surprised myself and went back to WoW after a year+ layloff from it and rolled an alliance toon (I was always hardcore horde) and I'm actually enjoying it.  I used to say I'd just play WoW until warhammer released but the new expansion sounds promising.  I dunno, try a bunch of games and I'm sure one will stick.  LotRO is fun from 1-50 then you'll be bored to tears.  Tabula Rasa is fun until you realize how repetitive it is (you've got to farm trash mobs for endgame gear upgrades, how sad is that?)  Best of luck to you.

I enjoyed Redstone for a "free" 2d game. Pretty simple hack and slash with a boatload of skills to choose from. Not many other people liked it though. I typically play WoW, EQ2, or Tabula Rasa type games and I thought Redstone was dec. Maybe people didn't like it because if you were playing 24/7 it would take you about 3 years to reach max level.... kek lawl... at least thats how it was when I played in Beta.
