OK spikenog: 1)skip 2)Flight simulator screens ARE fake. Very high quality in crysis is achievable with dx9. google it. Aoc screens will be fake when the game launches. You can quote me on that. Why am i saying that? Because they are a part of microsofts campaign to promote vista and dx10, just like screens from flight simulator. 3)if i remember right, fighting in aoc is real time. good luck killing anybody with lagspikes.

2) THERE IS NO EYE CANDY! difference is too small. And from what ive seen, dx9 looks even better with sharper textures(in crysis that is).
3)whats the difference? your screen stops refreshing for 1 second - lag.

In the end it's all opinion as to what each person likes and does not...I like bleeding edge graphics and pushing a game to the highest settings...you do not.

your monitor is most likely 720p. which is 1280x720.
Just because I'm bored, the Flight simulator x screenshots are fake, the dev's made them just to show of how it "might" look in DX10.
I play FSX in Vista 64 bit, with a 8800 ultra card and quad cpu and it looks good in DX10 but it isn't even close to that screen

Uhh then you need quadro not only Sli 8800 gtx.
In the end it's all opinion as to what each person likes and does not...I like bleeding edge graphics and pushing a game to the highest settings...you do not.
My only concern about AoC is if Vista users running Direct 10 will be bogged down by it?
