Savage 2

BaldavierBaldavier Member UncommonPosts: 10

On their video on their website they claim it is an RPG .. and its an MMO... well at least if more people knew about it.

http://savage2.s2games.com/

It's just coming out of Beta and combines fps, 3rd person hack n' slash, RTS and all the stats are on their website....

Is there any relevance to this site?

Thanks for reading to the end of my post!

Looks like its gonna suck.  Most of the developers for Savage formed the Offset Team who are making Project Offset.

I played the first Savage and it was an absolutely phenomenal game.

Unfortunately being that it was a small developer and it never got any press, it was plagued with empty servers and such. There was actually a bit of controversy when it came out as one site gave it a bad review, only to have the developers look onto the reviewers game-handle and see he'd only played an hour or so of the game, lol.

Definately looking forward to Savage 2 though.

Savage 1 was okay, wouldn't say it was great. Personally I don't see why they made a 2nd but whatever.

They updated Savage one to the top but wanted to make a new engine.

I'm playing Savage 2 all the time now (when I'm not in EvE online) and I am thoroughly enjoying it!

I would recommend giving the demo a try.. and let it grow on you, you really need to master the melee before it makes it's mark.

I'll try the demo, for $30, if its fun, I'll buy it.  Looks pretty cool.
