    hahaha, you gotta be carful what you pput into the eq2 forums.  i posted one thing about how i didnt like it for just one reason, and they shot me off the planet very quickly.  i dare not mention anything about WoW in there though.  they just dont understand that we like it better than eq2, and they arnt open to any discussion about it.  but good going any way, high 5 in your direction, lol.

    First of all you act like they are koprean dictators. Stop stereotyping them, the only ones that arent open to discussion are the ones blind to both games and are just going to by EQ2 because Sony is publishing it. Most of them infact are very open for discussion because they have their beliefs just like us. That's like saying "All WoW people say L33t and PWNED" Wich i dont and its really lame when people do. So say "most" instead of "All". Thanks

    Why people want to play a game that looks cartoonish is beyond me.  Just play Super Mario Brothers instead of WoW, its cheaper.

    I don't understand why some people are so against it looking cartoonish.  These games are supposed to be fantasy, so what's wrong with it being cartoonish?  It's not real (no matter how much some people want it to be image), so why does it have to look real?  I actually find the cartoony graphics to give it some character that I don't remember having in EQ (you have to have a little more imagination to change the way you see the world, as opposed to just making look like ours with different physics, etc), and I applaud Blizzard for being able to change things up a little.  Also, as a fan of all the Warcraft RTS games, that cartoony feel is the style that Warcraft has followed for years, and I would be a little upset if WoW weren't in that style (though that wouldn't stop me from playing it image).  I guess it just comes down to the opinions of the player.  Some people want their games to seem "real," and they're welcome to feel that way, but in my opinion, if you want real, stick to all the shooters out there, because as soon as you or the characters around you start casting spells, it's not real.  Therefore, if the creators want it to look cartoony, I'm all for it, and will enjoy experiencing the world they've created.

    It just seems that a lot of people don't understand that if you go the board of another game, you're going to find fans of that game, therefore, they will be biased towards it.  There are few people who will defend WoW on the EQ2 board, mainly because they want to play EQ2 more than WoW, and also the real WoW fans would be on the WoW boards, not EQ2 forums.  My only guess as to why you would go to the EQ2 forums is because you're nervous/jealous that EQ2 will be better than WoW, or you have way too much time on your hands.  My only reason to coming to these boards is to try and get Warcraft 3 to actually work.  Damn Blizzard, can't make anything work nowadays.

    You're also not the one with elite status.  Know what that means?  My posts are more thought out and valueable to the boards.  Spamming flame war threads is unecessary, and a waste of everyones time.  A majority of my posts are from bringing new information to boards or sharing my theories, or even correcting people, similar to how I corrected you.  Now aren't you glad you understand now?

    O really? Im sure i have twice the knowledge you have of WOW, but im not gonna fight you in a dick measuring contest. Thats not what i do. Your right you do have elite status, but i have been subscribed 3 days and im only few lvl down from your current postion. Therefore the extra few months or so you have one me, makes you elite.

    There are also people from eq2 or GW who come in here and post shit about wow being shitty. i myself have not been at the eq2 forums and probably wont go but i think that the people defending wow just like to prove their point to the eq2 fans and try to stop them from saying shit about wow.

    but i guess its just me...

    I was so hyped about EQ2, but then i realized that its gonna be ruined the first week of release, becuase of all the hard core fans will be playing the game for the best armor or any of that crap. and not play the game to have fun. World of Warcraft wont have that happen, becuase there arnt any people, for a while now, who will do this, beacuase its first in the series (most likely a WoW 2) and i heard there is mush more to do in the game than collect the best weapons and kill the toughest mosters. No more EQ2 for me! WoW all the way!!!

    I couldnt agree with you more, but some people (not mentioning any names) get upset when you compare EQ with WC. And say you like WC more makes them really upset. Thx for speaking you mind Avanti, if we dont who will?

    Thats just it, there is NOTHING wrong with the graphics being 'cartoonish'. They give the game an immensely wonderful style and atmosphere. Anyone who complains about the graphics hasnt played the game for more than 10 minutes, I guarantee.
