Well as much as i dislike ign.com because of there bias reviews and stupid game reviewers, they have an interview on their site from Cheyenne Mountain, the developer of Stargate Worlds. Goes on for about 5 pages or so.

Stargate Worlds Interview

I would copy/paste the interview here but like i said its 5 pages long. So go read it. Interesting stuff.

Huh.  Could be what Tabula Rasa COULD have been.

    Could be Tabula Rasa.

I think they're at the stage of development where they're still trying to figure out what works and what doesn't.  I really doubt this is going to be released this year.

I bet they are looking at tabula rasa just to see its mistakes to help them make stargate better.

That's the best strategy. Look at the mistakes of others and don't repeat them. History is one of the most powerfull tool.

WOW is one of those MMO that did that however, they also took the adverage IQ of a typical MMO community and toned the game to that adverage.

Stargate has an incredible potential :)

Yeah, it looks like the devs are trying to take this MMO to the next level.  A lot of pressure is taken off by 1) having Stargates to minimize the whole travel thing, and 2) they're using software (Unreal I believe) that allows them to develop the levels faster, helping them focus on the important stuff.

You can tell they are committed to developing a game that is true to Stargate but delivers a great and unique experience to any gamer (not speaking for them, but that is the feeling I get).

I've actually started watching Stargate since I've heard about this game.  Love the show.  CAN'T wait for the game.
