I got the hope control my thoughts again
I will never hope for this game until i have it in my hands.

I do not consider myself a doomsayer by indicating that March was not realistic. The game did not look polished enough back then. No big deal really. Unless you are growing impatient.
"Unless you are growing impatient" so if I'm impatient then you do consider yourself a doomsayer?
hmm.. might wanna reconsider your wording i dont think you meant to say that
Just when you think you have all the answers, I change the questions.
Good doing, the problem is to "love" too much a game... they are products and FC wants to make money, and to make money they need people to buy it, and for people to buy it they need a product that people like, if they got some features that people dont like, there will be less subscriber, and when the game is released if then starts to get lot of complaints they will already got a "feeling" on the product and loose $ and if the case the improve the game this feelings remains and will loose $
so they want to make money, they want the "first feeling" on a product with all this money and time after it is really good so they preffer to put it backup and give a good "first impresion". So, wait for the game, but figure any of this mmos can be delayed again and again till they feeling is what they REALLy want.
well good sign actually...
they are willing to polish the game more to avoid a buggy "beta state" release of the game, even though i was kinda dissapointed, i'll stick around for sure.
we need more quality games, we have enough vanguard clones already.... and they can try polish that turd, it will still be a turd.
Take the Magic: The Gathering 'What Color Are You?' Quiz.
One can observe a general pattern when an upcoming game, MMOs in particular, gets delayed (again):
1. Incredulity. Visible by statements like "Prove it." or "Nooooooes the suckzorz, it cannot be!" or "I only believe it when there is an official statement"
2. Anger. Proven by posts like "D*** they can't do that, now I have to wait another *"*ç%& weeks and I am bored out of my mind by game XoX."
3. Spitefulness. Often seen in posts like "Told ya so!" or "Bah! It's going the way of *insert miserable game launch of your choice"
4. Feeling of doom. There are variations of this starting with "This game will fail! They will run out of money because *blablabla* going up to "Wait another month and SOE will buy the game!"
*time warp 7 days into the future*
5. Accpetance and Amnesia. No one really cares anymore about the delay. Because let's be honest, what do you wanna do against it, huh? The rest has just forgotten about the whole incident already...
The good thing is that the average attention span of the average MMO player is about one week, ok it is shorter but I am in a good mood today, so after that week no one really cares any more about the delay.
Basically those that did say they would boycott game X or developer Y because of the delay will still buy the game once it is released x weeks/months later. And the fanboys will buy it anyway. And what's the result of the outcry? none, nothing, nada. A developer couldn't care less about some outrage on a site like mmorpg or any other mmo community site. But this is not because they have the right to ignore it. It is because there are no consequences, but this is the fault of the community, not the fault of the developer.

Who cares about right or wrong.
Fact is that FC did not manage to release a polish game out in time. If you look at it as good or bad - I really dont care. What I do care is that I will not buy it until I see the final working version. I suggest all do the same.
Don't buy games in advance. Buy the game when its ready. Thats my advice. Stay away from this one until its proven to be something more than a pile of bugs that have been pushed back countless times.
I'm really glad that they push the MMOs as far back as needed. Although I would have liked to see it launch, my life does not revolve around it. I would have prefered them to keep the release day open (as per Blizzard) but I guess the marketing guys are stronger than the developers. Although not as strong as to release the game in a semi-finished state.
So no, the delay does not mean the world has ended as we know it. Best case scenario, you'll have a solid fun game to play "when it's finished". Worse case scenario, you won't, so you'll look elsewhere. Noone can please everyone and that holds true in the MMO world as well.
In the end, I can be wrong and the marketing guys are indeed stronger than the developers. So they decided to push the launch closer to the release of the other MMOs (WAR etc) but earlier. That would mean that people are still in the MMO honeymoon period during the launches of the other MMOs and may decide not to check them out. It's a bit far fetched scenario but it's not totally unreasonable.
Is that a good suggestion, or a bad suggestion? if neither then im indifferent

No, when you are impatient the delay is a big deal for you, and you might consider me a doomsayer. That does not mean I am one. At least, I don't think so.
The statement in your first paragraph requires that the game already be released. We'll know whether or not the release is premature when it is released.
Until then, all we can guess is whether or not releasing today would be premature.
While I am a part of the impatient crowd, I have to say that I would rather see a push back then experience another Vanguard. I am sure that the decision to push the release back once again has not been easy, but (as annoying as it may be to some of us) it shows that Funcom and their partners wish to deliver a good product, rather then just grab fast cash.
What I find amusing on the official forums is that people were called 'doomsayers' for thinking that a delay would be a good idea, and now that a delay has been enacted, the very same people who called others 'doomsayers' are throwing doom-laden fits about lies and deceit, while the former 'doomsayers' are trying to calm them down and convince them it is good news.
How quickly tables turn. Very entertaining.
It was never pessimists versus optimists, nor doomsayers versus fanboys -- it is realists versus the flipping insane.
