I can't decide whether or not to get WoW or EQ2. I know this has been argue about alot but i cant decide! If i post this in the EQ2 forums it will be EQ2 and in the WoW forums its gonna be WoW! I need some help from people i can trust. I'll play either one but i dont wanna spend money on both. What I look for in MMORPGs is The biggest and nicest Community. I also look for the most interesting stuff you can do. Like in WoW you can buy a pet. Please help me out, thanks.

Wait until they're released. Until then, it's wild speculation.
There's also a very good chance they'll be released months apart from each other, allowing you an opportunity to try out both.

So, rather than read the 1001 other EQ2 or WoW threads, and formulate a thought or two of your own, you start a new thread on a dead horse of a topic, and then get pissy when someone calls you on it?
Your sig already states WoW is your future MMO. However, if you insist on having others make up your mind for you, I will do so. You will play neither. You will stop playing MMOGs entirely. You will stick to games like Solitaire, and Minesweeper. That is all.

I know WoW lets you fight other people but I am just not a fan of the WOW'sy environment. It doesnt fit as an MMO for me and I woudlnt play it. Ever.

I think he meant to say, "I'm an EQ2 fanboi so I'll never play WoW because it's in competition with EQ2 and I don't want WoW to hurt my beloved EQ2!"
Just because he's not interested in WoW doesn't make him a EQ2 fanboi. An obnoxious post like that just makes the WoW community look worse.
I'm not going to play either of them, but i still think EQ2 will be the better game.
you guys are mean... Just because you are sick of the subject doesnt mean you guys have to yell at people who arent for starting them... dont read it if your sick of it... Its not your board and i hear more complaints about people posting this subject than the subject itself... And for Lugnard... He might just not like the gaming enviroment, I dont like certain enviroments either... WoW just seems wierd to me... And EQ2 characters look a little wierd to me as well.
But on topic... I'm excited for EQ2 myself, Just because i played the story in EQ and i want to continue it, and plus... there is so much cool stuff in the way the game is played

In all honesty, I recommend that you just wait a while after they come out and find out what people are saying about each game. Also you can see who puts out the next expensive and unnecessary expansion first, and know that they are just gouging you for your money. But if you want some quick info on WoW they have an open beta coming up, so be sure to get in on that to make your own evaluation of the game. Also i'm sure that you are very aware a lot of people will be playing each of these games, and they will all tell you the one that they are playing is better, so really you cant trust anyone to make the decision for you. You just have to absorb all the information you can get and formulate an opinion on your own.
And i think that it's really funny that the two future mmo communities are using this thread to argue, despite that the focus is in helping someone decide between the games.
