I apologize if this post is a little off topic but I can't seem to figure out what dates the Quarter system for MMORPGs are.
Do they follow the same Quarter system of the fiscal year?
OR
Is it some other system?
If somebody knows please shed some light on this for me.
Thanks,

not sure.. 4 x 3 = 12? ;oP
I always thought as 1st quarter being january-february-march.
Pretty sure it's
1st Quarter = January - March
2nd Quarter = April-June
3rd Quarter = July-September
4th Quarter = October- December
Though I have been known to be wrong from time to time. I just figure according to Canadian Calanders...normally the year starts in January and ends with December. I don't think the fiscal year normally comes into play when it comes to release dates.
"Fiscal Year" is a set of 3 month periods, of which 4 make up the Fiscal Year. However, exactly which set of months make up each Quarter is determined by the Company setting it up.
Calendar year quarters start with the January-March set of 3 months and proceed from there.
MMORPG release targets are stated in Calendar year quarters and are usually fictional.
