Noob Rock Band Guide

I've been playing guitar games since the first guitar hero and have since altered the way I play quite a few times. I stumbled upon this guide that I found was actually very useful for new players. This is basically how I re-taught myself how to play and right now I can play any song on expert. It's good if you want to learn the best way from the start so you don't have to go back and unlearn bad habits.

I'd be interested to hear from other kind of strategies, if any, you guys used to get good at the game

That's pretty interesting of a Strategy.
But I'm already comfortable doing what I do which is so messed up so I'll just keep doing what I do best lol.
It's more of what is more comfortable to you. Instead of learning what is good for others may not be good for you.
I got my hand cut up pretty bad on a convoy so I had to learn how to play with a bandage wrapped around my hand and I can't help but think there's a bandage between the big gap there now days.
