Problem with trial set-up.

I recently just downloaded the free trial, and I noticed that after I ran set-up, the game will start, but no icon pops on my desktop or in my start menu to run the actual program. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong, but I've been having to run the 10-minute set-up every time if I want to start the game, because I see no other way to open it.
Help?

It's odd that the game didn't make a desktop icon for you.
In any case, I'm not at home so I can't tell you exectly where to go, and I may be a bit off as to the directory structure. However if you dig around on your C drive inside the "Program Files" folder/ directory there should be a "Turbine" folder and then a "Lord of the Rings Online" folder inside that. If you look inside that folder there should be an .exe program that actually lauches the game (might be called launcher.exe). Right click it to creat a shortcut. Drag the shortcut to your desktop.
If that doesn't get it for you I'll write more explicit instructions when I get home.

That worked, thanks bunches! It was drivin' me nuts.
It sent the icon into HP games folder for me,took me a lil bit to find it ..LOLs
