1x8800gt versus 2x8600gt?

Pretty much in the title,I am looking to buy a new pc and cant decide what is better,I have settled on the amd 6000+ and i have payed a bit more for the power system(850watt realpower pro) so it shouldnt be a problem to run either,Any advice would be well recieved,Thanks guys.

    8800GT is way way better then 2 8600.  However, I would wait a month before you buy.  The price will go down as the 9xxx series is released.

    haha easy one the 8800gt all the way, if you compare the specs of the 2 cards you will see why...

    if you want a good graphics then why dont u pay a little extra to get the 8800gtx or the ultra,

    The 8800gtx is barely faster than the 8800gt and it costs alot more. If you want to get something better you buy the new 8800gts 512mb.
